    Summary:

Fit is okay, but they are lethargic for CrossFit training and I worry about the longevity of the build.

    Details:

I have really wide, thick, feet (E width). I’ve tried (and returned) several brands until buying these and I am generally happy about the fit. They are wide enough and the instep, which is typically an issue for me, is fine.

However, these shoes are pretty heavy and stiff, making a traditional CrossFit workout tough. While it’s wide base and stiff lowers make it good for lifting? It didn’t feel great with box jumps. My knee ached for a few days after wearing them for the first time after box jump overs.

Also, the material and construction feels a bit cheap (although they are not!) leaving me concerned about the longevity.

And as a side note, they have a really odd smell! Smells like they’ve been built out of plastic.

    Love this shoes!

I use this shoes primarily for CrossFit. They are amazing and I used to have a pair of Nike Metcon 9, not easy to compete against. I definitely would recommend them!

The only thing that took me a minute to get used to is the stiffness when rowing. Other than that, they are amazing.

    Good shoe

One of the best training shoes, have tried. Comfortable and good width. Good customer service also.

    pièce de résistance

After the break-in period (5 - 10 WODs), and they'll have you floating around the gym. These are a fantastic option for heavier lifts, machine works, rope climbs, or just walking around downtown.

I'd like to see a different lace option, but overall these feel quality. The outer sole will mark up easy, as it's a soft compound, but the upper seems to be pretty resilient to ropes, sandbags, rower straps, etc.
